Colonoscopy Revealed Darkened Colon

Some Doctors comment on darkened colon walls and advise to stop herbs.

Here is what I recommend:

When you are going to have a colonoscopy you will want to stop taking Jim's (or any other herbal remedy) 3 weeks prior to your procedure.

The darkening does not effect the function of your colon, but doctors would prefer you to be constipated or taking a pharmaceutical solution since they do not have any training in herbal remedy.

The second batch I just got maybe 3-4 weeks ago is not working and I am taking more pills then ever.

Did you change something because nothing is working and I did not change anything from when I was taking the original bottles you sent me to the news ones sent except taking more to obtain no results.

Hi Denise,

Thank you for using Jim's Colon Pills and Jim's Colon Cleanse

I researched your purchase history and discovered you first purchased the "Jim's Colon Cleanse". The second purchase was Jim's Colon Pills - two different products.

Seems like the colon cleanse works better for you. The cleanse is a bit stronger and designed to clean out old debris.

Most common use is one cleanse and as many pills as needed to get ideal bowel movements.

Purchase History:

3/3/2008 8:56:00 PM Denise details $30.45 COLON PILLS
2/23/2008 10:53:00 AM Denise details $32.45 Colon Cleanse

When you purchase again be sure and select the Colon Cleanse.

Colon Pills Long Term Use – Is It Safe

I have been taking Jim's colon pills for about a year ( 2 every night). They have really seemed to help but are they addictive or is this ok to keep taking them indefinitely?

Pam

Yes it is ok to take as you need them. - Not Addictive.

With a bit of effort at some point you may be able to juggle your busy life and with some lifestyle changes get off the colon pills. When you are ready (and it takes work) we can help you understand what it will take:

After starting the colon pills I find my stomach kind of puffing up

After starting the colon pills I find my stomach kind of puffing up with swelling and it is not moving out the next morning (following the routine).  I got worried about taking them after trying for a few times. It seems to bulk in me. Any suggestions? Kristi starting the use of a bulking product can be tricky at first. Here is a Check List to make sure you keep on target...

  • Drink lots of water (distilled best) - body-weight divide by 2 in ounces + 12 oz for each capsule + 8 oz for every 30 minutes of exercise
  • Separate consumption of Jim's Pills by 45 minutes before any food or nutrients
  • If you have consumed any antibiotics you should replenish friendly bacteria (www.colonbalance.com)
  • If you are taking a prescription drug to be aware that it is contributing to constipation and when you stop taking it, after a while, your body will begin to snap out of the stupor the drug caused and begin to function again. Depending on how long the drug was used the recovery may be a long time, detoxifying can assist in faster recovery.

Detoxifying is essential in speeding full recovery from constipation Read my Detoxifying book online free here"This is one of the chief reasons why I am opposed to drug medication because its sole aim seems to be the suppression of symptoms. Pain, the chief symptom, is not a disease, but simply the messenger bringing warning of the disease to the brain. To silence this messenger, yet leave the disease unchecked, is folly. It would be just as reasonable, if the house were on fire, to cut the cord of the alarm bell, and to conclude because you could no longer hear the bell that the danger was past. Disease, therefore, is beneficial, should be welcomed as a friend, and every assistance given to Nature to assist her in restoring normal conditions." Do Jim’s Colon Pills Really Work?

I would like to share this story with you and your readers about my daughter and her bowel problems.

My daughter is a Yoga teacher with over 200 students ages 18 to 85 collectively in three classes.

She teaches with great success. So, "exercise" or the lack of it, is not an issue.

However, for many months she has had bouts of 3 to 4 days of constipation, even though her diet consists of many fruits and veggies; it is very unnerving to say the least.

Her family drove down to the states from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and stayed with us for about 10 days.

During that time, I spoke to her about Jim's Colon Pills, which I was already taking, which has resulted in my having 3 bowel movements per day when I increased the dose to 3 pills at night plus 3 in the a.m.

She started with 1 Colon Pill before bedtime plus a Colon Cleanse in the morning about 1/2 hour before breakfast.
The 2nd day, "all hell broke loose."

Her bowels moved twice a day, then I suggested she also take 2 Colon Pills at night.

Botton Line: She is now back in Canada and only taking 1 Colon Pill at night and 1 in the a.m.

Last week she said her bowel movements were 3 to 5 per day. I told her, that if the "tail end" is "watery," to back off and skip a day without taking any pills.

She is ecstatic with the results (3 bowel movements per day) and her energy level has increased substantially.

Thank you so much for Jim's Colon Pills.

Mrs. PB

Thanks for the great feedback

Are the colon pills safe for children? Why we need friendly bacteria

Are the colon pills safe for children? My almost 3 year old suffers from frequent bouts of constipation. right now, she has to take kondremul (mineral oil) every day and she still can go 1 to 2 days with no bowel-movements. When she does go it is very painful.

We've tried all sorts of traditional meds. including baby suppositories, dietary adjustments but nothing seems to help. I know the pills work for me, so I was just wondering if the colon pills would work for her. what do you think?

     Thank you in advance.

      Nathan

Dear Nathan,

Thank you for asking your question.

I have found that constipation in children is universally a problem stemming from the friendly bacteria being replaced by bad bacteria.

Here is the short list of things that kill off the good bacteria and cause the bad bacteria to flourish:

  • Antibiotics
  • Inoculations (mercury a know poison is used to provide shelf life)
  • Fevers
  • Any and all pain meds also reduce the peristaltic system that moves waste through the colon
  • Stress

I recommend L. Salivarious and Flora-G Plus to assist in re-establishing the good bacteria (and  L. Salivarious to have on hand for any upset tummy).

Then, continued maintenance with Flora-G Plus. You can safely give as much of these two bacteria products to your daughter with no fear of overdose.

You should avoid acidophilus in any large dosages as overdose is possible - so don't go look for good bacteria locally - few places carry the correct bacteria.

As to the colon pills - not recommeded for 3 yrs and not needed once the freindly bacteria is re-established.

COULD I BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG

I AM A 44 YO FEMALE WITH HYPOTHYROID & GERD.  I CAN REMEMBER BACK TO MY TEENS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH BM'S.  SOMETIMES IT WILL BE ONCE A DAY, USUALLY EVERY 2-3 DAYS.  MY FATHER & SISTER HAVE HAD GREAT SUCCESS WITH THE PILLS, BUT I DON'T SEEM TO HAVE THE SAME RESPONSE.  I HAVE BEEN TAKING THEM SINCE JULY 25TH AND HAVE WORKED UP TO 1 IN THE AM, 1 BEFORE LUNCH AND 2 AT BEDTIME.  I STILL USUALLY ONLY HAVE 1 BM PER DAY (SOMETIMES ALOT & OTHER DAYS VERY LITTLE) COULD I BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG? I AM ON THE JENNY CRAIG DIET PLAN & EITHER BIKE RIDE OR WALK 4-5 DAYS A WEEK.

Margaret

Hi Margaret,

You may want to understand how digestion works: report located here:
http://road-to-health.com/club
Understand how digestion works, how to improve it, what to avoid.

Check list for overcoming digestion problems (constipation):

  1. Drink enough distilled water - weight x 1/2 oz if you are not active example 200 pounds = 100 ounces + 8 oz for every 20 minutes of activity
  2. replace friendly bacteria http://www.colonbalance.com
  3. Eat lots of fiber 35 grams or more.
  4. Increase colon pills until you can eat enough fiber
  5. Release the stress in your life

I was wondering if my children can take the colon pills too

I was wondering if my children can take the pills too. One is 11 and the other 9. My youngest can clear a room when he passes gas and sometimes when he goes to restroom. Is it safe to use for kids and if not is there something you recommend. Please advise...

Thank you

Less sugar more vegetables.

Add in enzymes if still problem after bacteria

I just had a colonoscopy

I have been purchasing Jim's Colon pills for over a year and have been taking them everyday. I just had a colonoscopy and everything was clear except that my colon was dark (melatonin)and not pink.

The Dr. attributed this to overdosing on laxatives. I only take one pill a day. When told about the pills the Dr. said that Senna  could contribute to this. I know that this is one of the ingredients. What are your thoughts on this? I will probably stop taking the pills now. I am hoping that my colon will return to normal.
