Health Through Science, Not Medicine

December 17, 1999

Dear Friends,

It has been an unprecedented year — with more blessings than I can remember for many years. Finishing the last book with Geoff’s help was a dream come true. Of course, getting plunked into a real-time Monopoly game and landing on GO STRAIGHT TO JAIL, was unexpected. But even in jail, the joy of succeeding in finding the causes and cures for cancer and HIV overwhelmed the humiliation and defeat. I asked myself a few times whether I would do it all over if I knew the consequences and the answer was always yes. I thought of Martin Luther King, Mandella, Solynitxin, and how they had endured. Was my truth also worth the sacrifice?

Peeking into the next century, like through a crystal ball, I see the torture and agony of disease coming under the control of the individual just like a bad ism eventually coming under control The future looks bright for us all . . . what with a little bit of work!

I used to think that only a mother’s heart could focus on such a goal: health for everyone, not just her family. But 1999 brought the acquaintance of more than one man devoted to the same goal! So a father’s heart can feel this too and I must correct this parent-ism myself.

Society must be evolving; the markers for a year’s progress are seen at Christmas and New Year’s time when the past seems to meet the future with a crash. Bang! And it’s a whole new world again. There is opportunity again for everyone.

Love and Happy Holidays,

Hulda Clark

Announcements

29 January 2000: A One-Day Seminar in Louisville, KY — An Advanced Syncrometer Seminar. Dr. Clark will demonstrate some of the tests that lead to the findings in The Cure For All Advanced Cancers. The course includes:

  1. A demonstration of proof that the Syncrometer finding of toxins in tissues is true; addressing errors.
  2. An explanation of basic electronics.
  3. A demonstration of how to measure the earth’s magnetic field and the magnetization of objects around us (using a magnetometer, compass and trifieldmeter).
  4. A demonstration that proves the existence of a cosmic clock that regulates metabolism, identifying cellular compartments with a radio clock (if you want a hands-on experiment bring a radio clock, available at Radio Shack, set a day before arriving).
  5. A demonstration on how to detect the latent viruses in chromosomes using the cosmic clock — timing their removal.
  6. A demonstration on the effect of a magnet on DNA production.
  7. A demonstration of the effect of a full-spectrum light on ferritin-coated white blood cells.
  8. A demonstration showing how to find your own bandwidth, an insect’s bandwidth and to verify the addition and subtraction rule.
  9. A demonstration of how to use saliva to find tissue-specific problems (tumor, parasite, toxin, or virus). Therapy-at-a-Distance.
  10. A demonstration of how to check your immune status three ways:
  1. The presence of benzene and its relationship to viral infections
  2. Ferritin-coating of white blood cells due to asbestos lodged in tissues
  3. Presence of lanthanides in tissues

This seminar is $680.00 and includes the new Syncrometer Biochemistry Laboratory Manual. The seminar is limited to 20 participants.

30 January 2000: A One-Day Seminar in Louisville, KY, with different speakers on the Clark therapy, freedom of choice in medicine, etc. Dr. Clark will give a lecture in the morning. There will be seating for 1000. Proceeds for this event will go toward Dr. Clark’s Legal Defense Fund, and her Research foundation. (Please see Dr. Clark’s letter on page 13.)

Note: We understand that audio tapes of this event will be available at a later time and we will announce in the next newsletter how you can order them.

Legal Updates

11/19/99: Dr. Clark was surprisingly allowed to leave the State of Indiana this week. She immediately returned to California to continue her research. She was even returned her passport, which gave her the possibility to work at her clinic in Tijuana, Mexico. She is now continuing her research. Since she has solved the cancer riddle — all the information on this can be found in The Cure For All Advanced Cancers, backed up by documented cases — she is now working on HIV/AIDS again, as well as a means to speed up detoxification in cancer patients. — David Amrein

Note: For information regarding Dr. Clark’s clinic, please call 011-52-6682-8215 or FAX 011-52-6683-4454.

Nov. 30, 1999: I realize I haven’t emailed any news about Dr. Clark in a while, but fortunately that’s because there isn’t much. She is back at work in Mexico because there is nothing to do in Indiana until a new prosecutor is assigned and a hearing is scheduled for her Motions To Dismiss. — Geoff Clark

Dec. 2, 1999: The local newspaper had a headline today that Judge Mallo has resigned her position to take a job in our county. That means they will have to have a new judge appointed until an election can be held. I do not know how this will affect the case but it will probably delay it, maybe even delay it for quite awhile. — Frank Jerome, D.D.S

Dec. 16, 1999: Jackson County Prosecutor Jeffrey Nierman has been appointed special prosecutor in the Hulda Clark case after the Brown County prosecutor withdrew because of conflict-of-interest concerns. — Geoff Clark

January 14, 2000: The Clark Campaign . . . by Tim Bolen

It would now seem we have the backing of not one, but two, major political parties in the United States . . .

1. The National Reform Party:

The National Reform Party’s platform on health issues is, We shall support reform of the health care system that returns control of the system to its patients. We must return the individuals’ right to control his or her own medical and health decisions."

The following was written to her constituents by Elissa Meininger, Health Issues Reform Party National Issues Committee:

"Folks, over the last several months I have posted background material and updates about the now-infamous Hulda Clark case. As you recall, Dr. Clark was arrested and incarcerated in California for over two weeks then hauled back to Indiana to face charges of practicing medicine without a license for activities she allegedly committed 6½ years ago in violation of local law. She is an internationally known natural healing arts cancer specialist and is the author of four books on the subject of health.

"After she was returned to Indiana, overwhelming support for Hulda resulted in a local newspaper reporting 203 support letters vs 3 against sent to the paper, even after medical authorities attempted to mount a public campaign to brand her a quack. As predicted by health freedom fighters around the country, Hulda’s case has turned into a political quagmire for local politicians. Many more details are available at Hulda’s website: http://www.drclark.ch."

2. The Libertarian Party:

The Libertarians are leading the way, with their national platform. The Libertarian party advocates the complete separation of medicine and state. They recognize the individuals right to self-medication and seek the elimination of all government restrictions on the right of individuals to pursue alternative forms of health care. They believe that individuals should be free to contract with practitioners of their choice for all health care services.

The Libertarians opinion about health care appears to be shared by the majority of the American population which spent, in 1999, approximately 56.5% of its health dollars on alternative forms of health care. Virtually all of those dollars were "out-of-pocket" as conventional medicine political forces have so-far prevented payment of the fees of the much more effective alternative health practitioners.

In their political platform, the Libertarians, a significant national political party, are recognizing a national movement that, state by state, is demanding "Health Freedom." Excellent organizations have been formed, with major successes already completed, or in progress. The Libertarians are the first major American political party to recognize the real issues in health care and to offer realistic solutions.

On January 30, 2000 the Kentucky branch of the Libertarian party will sponsor an all day event on behalf of the Hulda Clark campaign in Louisville, Kentucky. (Please see page 2 for details.)

The January 30th seminar is going to be an interesting event. The Kentucky Libertarians are "out for bear" at this event in establishing their national party’s stance for "health freedom" in Election 2000. I applaud them for it. As should we all.

I’m an Orange County California Conservative Republican, and I want my own party to duplicate the Libertarians stance, right now. At this time, they are only doing so individually. There is no doubt where Senator (and presidential candidate) Orin Hatch stands on health issues. Dan Burton, from Indiana, is an American hero. In California Conservative Republican Assemblyman Steve Baldwin is co-sponsoring AB827 (The California Health Freedom Bill) with liberal Democrat John Vasconcuellos.

The Clark Campaign:

The Clark campaign is far from over. The trial, originally scheduled for February 2, 2000, has been indefinitely postponed by Circuit Court Judge Heather Mollo, who herself, has resigned from the bench, and will be gone as of January 14, 2000. A new prosecutor has been appointed to handle the case, and his first job will be to attempt, on February 8, 2000, to defend against the defense’s "Motion To Dismiss," in front of the newly appointed judge (whose name is not yet known).

We expect the case to be dismissed at that time as case law in Indiana shows that any defendant has the right to a speedy trial. The prosecution never made any attempt (for 6½ years) to serve any warrant anywhere, and Dr. Clark was a resident of the United States, with an address, a driver’s license, a telephone number, etc. She certainly was not a fugitive in hiding, and had the prosecution desired to proceed, could have done so in a reasonable amount of time.

Who or What is Behind the Clark Attack?Opinion by Tim Bolen

There has been a lot of speculation about how this ludicrous attack on Dr. Clark came to be. Although there may have been other contributing factors, I believe those earlier prosecutors (before prosecutor James Oliver married Investigator Amy Hoffman) simply saw no merit in the case. It is my theory that Amy Hoffman (Oliver), as an investigator, may have gone through training provided by the Federation of States Medical Boards (FSMB), which in itself is horribly infected by it’s relationship with the so called National Council Against Health Fraud (NCAHF). Any training Hoffman received at FSMB hands would have prejudiced her against any, and all, alternative or leading edge practitioners. The FSMB openly characterizes all alternative practices as "health fraud."

So far the attack on Hulda Clark has backfired on the opposition. The Clark case may just be their "Waterloo." The NCAHF, a crackpot(?) organization, which is run out of the basement of a de-licensed MD in Allentown, PA, has taken an active role to damage Clark, and some say, all alternative health practitioners. But, either they’re not very good at this campaign, or the American public has had enough of their terrorism, for they’re not doing very well in this case. In fact their efforts have only served to focus health freedom activists on the source of the overall problem. Those activists, with new awareness, are in turn, pointing the finger — and communicating quite well — to their elected officials, and the media — a combination that has proven to be extremely effective. In California, a state that has the reputation for leading the nation in some kinds of social changes, health freedom activists are winning some startling victories. It is expected that the strategies they have used will be used, and improved upon, nationwide, in the health movement. It looks as though Kentucky is already about to add a new wrinkle.

Californians actively fought for the removal of the NCAHF from their Loma Linda University address. The activists won — thereby removing the NCAHF’s ability to intimate they had academic acceptance for their medical buffoonery.

California Governor Davis, who is listening to his constituents, is refusing to renew the appointments of fourteen of the existing eighteen Medical Board dinosaurs — and is looking for a brand new board that will serve the needs of the people.

AB827 (The California Health Freedom Bill) will be on the floor of the legislature this year, and is supported by both sides of the house.

So What’s This Seminar In Kentucky About?

It’s about Americans, acting like Americans, doing what Americans do when they get concerned about something important.

See you there.

Tim Bolen

PS There will be a video team memorializing the January 30th seminar in Kentucky. The team is based in Indiana. The team will film a lot of footage, and as soon as releases are signed from each of the speakers, the video will be available for sale. A national radio program wants to broadcast live from the hotel, interviewing speakers for a two-hour show. We will have at least one TV network on hand.

Dr. Clark Answers Your Questions

Question #1: Are you having success using Frankincense to cure HIV and AIDS patients?

Dr. Clark: Yes, we are including it in the program.

Question #2: How is Frankincense used?

Dr. Clark: Frankincense is not for the average person’s consumption . . . only to kill viruses. Put three drops on middle of tongue. It will burn. Keep on tongue for 30 seconds before swallowing. (If you use the Self Health brand use six drops — see question #4.)

Question #3: Will the person have to use Frankincense for the rest of his or her life?

Dr. Clark: When ill.

Question #4: What brand of Frankincense do you recommend?

Dr. Clark: Any commercial brand of Frankincense is okay, but it must have a pinch of Vitamin B2 added [and one drop of hydrochloric acid (HCL), optional] before using, to detoxify any benzene. If you use the Self Health brand of Frankincense there is no need to add Vitamin B2 or HCL, but you must use six drops instead of three. [Note: See The Road To Health Order Form to order the Self Health (Dr. Clark) brand of Frankincense.]

Question #5: If Frankincense is effective against the AIDS virus, is it also effective against other viruses such as herpes?

Dr. Clark: Yes.

Question #6A: Uschi Ausfelder claims that with Syncrometer saliva tests you can also test for which organ pollutants and pathogens are in. Is this true?

Dr. Clark: Yes, she has notified me of it and I tested it several times and it is true.

Question #6B: How is this possible, since there is no organ tissue in the saliva?

Dr. Clark: It seems that the antigenic material, occurring in minute traces, is sufficient.

Question #6C: Uschi Ausfelder states also that one should not zap one day before a Syncrometer test in order not to distort the testing results. Is this true?

Dr. Clark: This is a good idea.

Question #7: In the book you state that the voltage of the Zapper (peak) should be between 5 and 10 Volts. Is 5 Volts really sufficient?

Dr. Clark: Yes. If you build the Zapper according to the book, you have voltage peak-to-peak of a bit less than 9 Volts, i.e. around 5 Volts when you measure it with a voltmeter. But even if you have 5 Volts peak-to-peak, which is about 3 Volts with a voltmeter, it is sufficient. In fact, I have done experiments in the range of millivolts and gotten the same results.

Question #8: In one Zapper we bought the interval was set to 17:38 instead of 20 minutes. Is this sufficient?

Dr. Clark: Yes.

Question #9: The Kidney Cleanse recipe states that 8 ounces of Black Cherry Concentrate should be added to the first boil of kidney herbs. That way one is left without the concentrate for the second boil of the herbs. Can the 8 ounces be split between the 1st and 2nd boil?

Dr. Clark: No, take a second glass of Black Cherry Concentrate for the second round.

Question #10: When you talk about Vitamin C, can calcium, potassium or sodium ascorbate be used?

Dr. Clark: No.

Question #11: In the book you describe that one can go faster with the parasite program than shown on the handy chart. If someone starts out on a higher dosage of Black Walnut Tincture, how is he to proceed?

Dr. Clark: He should take that dosage until the 5th day and then the 2 teaspoon dose as in the handy chart.

[Note: Black Walnut Freeze Dried capsules may also be used (one capsule is equal to 1 teaspoon of Black Walnut Extra Strength tincture.).]

Question #12: The parasite maintenance in the Cure For All Diseases is 3 clove capsules while in the Cure For All Cancers it is seven clove capsules. Does this apply only to cancer or is this a general change?

Dr. Clark: This applies to cancer.

Question #13: Is the parasite program effective against amoebas also?

Dr. Clark: Yes.

Question #14: Do you have experience with polymyositis?

Dr. Clark: Yes. Simply do the clean ups and the parasite program.

Question #15: In the most recently updated Cure For All Cancers the parasite mop-up program with CoQ10 is not mentioned, instead a high dose Black Walnut Program. Which one is to be used?

Dr. Clark: I do not have it in the Cure For All Cancers because CoQ10 is very expensive and some cancer patients cannot afford it.

Question #16: Which doses are to be used for children in the parasite mop-up (tapeworm and Ascaris) program?

Dr. Clark: With severely ill children, e.g. with advanced cancer, the same dosages as with grown-ups. With regular patients you can reduce the dosage according to body weight, and leave the Cysteine out of the program.

Question #17: Which dental aftercare is to be used, the one in the updated Cure For All Cancers or the one in the updated Cure For HIV & AIDS?

Dr. Clark: The one in the Cure For All Cancers, since this has been updated latest. (See the new book, The Cure For All Advanced Cancers, for more information).

Question #18: The recipe for Lugol’s iodine is in the book, but not the recipe for white iodine. How is it prepared?

Dr. Clark: Just leave the iodine out of the recipe and proceed the same way with the 88g of potassium iodide.

Question #19: Should aluminum oxide, used in air abrasion at the dentist’s, be avoided?

Dr. Clark: Aluminum oxide is optional. It should be avoided if a person is ill.

Question #20: With some Kosher milk being free of parasites, what do you put this down to?

Dr. Clark: Better sanitation.

Success Stories Using The Clark Method

Letter #1:

This letter is in protest of the arrest of a wonderful doctor: Dr. Hulda Clark. I feel she is one of the few doctors who genuinely cares about the health and lives of her patients.

I have suffered since I was 12 years old (I am now 39) with daily migraine headaches, which were crippling at times. After reading Dr. Clark’s books, and following her protocol, I am now migraine-free. I thank God that I found her books and was able to cure myself. The other doctors I went to could do nothing for me. Also, my husband, daughter, parents, and myself have had gallbladder trouble, which I’m sure the other doctors would have wanted to remove, finding that the gallbladder is an organ we really don’t need. Are these the people we believe are educated? Heaven help us all if they are! Anyway, after doing Dr. Clark’s Liver Cleanse we are five people whose lives have greatly improved. The other health issues that have improved among us are of a smaller degree and are too many to write about and explain to you, but I know how much she has done for us and I will be eternally grateful.

A.B., Indiantown, FL

Letter #2:

I first came across Dr. Hulda Clark’s book in 1995 and began following her protocols in 1996. I contracted Hepatitis C in early 1997. I woke up one February morning jaundiced and knew I was sick. I went to my doctor and he immediately began to discuss a liver transplant because of my elevated liver enzymes.

I became extremely tired and could not work a full eight-hour day. By May the test for Hepatitis C turned positive. In June I began to follow the protocols recommended by Dr. Clark (I had been advised by my doctor in February to discontinue all protocols including the alternative methods I had been following).

Everyday for a month I used the Zapper and orally took the anti-parasite herbs that Dr. Clark recommends. I can honestly say that within 30 days all the physical symptoms that I had been experiencing since early February were gone. My liver enzymes were now within normal range and my energy levels returned to where they were before February.

M.S., Aurora, IL

Letter #3:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Hulda Clark and her research. I cannot tell you how much her books and her work have helped me and made a positive difference in my life. This woman is a true humanitarian and to view her as anything else is a travesty of justice. My husband had suffered extensive kidney and liver damage to the extent that the doctors were going to start him on kidney dialysis. We followed Dr. Clark’s program and within a short time my husband had improved so much that he never did start the dialysis program. The doctors were amazed and told us to keep doing whatever it was we were doing. Since that time we have both found ourselves without a cold in 2 years — not a sniffle! Hulda Clark should be knighted not jailed!

Letter #4:

On October 8, 1998, at age 55, I was diagnosed with cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma. I was given a few months to live. A bone marrow was done and a catscan was taken four days later, coincident with the commencement of chemotherapy. A week later, the results of the bone marrow and catscan indicated a more promising prognosis — I could live another five years! Five months of chemotherapy ensued.

At the end of the chemotherapy (February 1999), my oncologist and I were pleased with the results. Chemo was done! He would see me again in three months.

Unfortunately, in mid-April the lymphoma returned. The largest tumor was removed but two more tumors grew. The doctors felt that neither chemo nor surgery would work so they decided to try radiation. In Canada, we have a waiting period to try radiation, so it was booked for July.

I was terrified of having radiation and decided to pursue the protocol in Hulda Clark’s book, The Cure For All Cancers, which I had bought during my chemotherapy sessions. Commencing with the daily kidney cleanse tea, and then adding the parasite cleanse, I followed the regimen in her book. Three weeks later, the tumors were gone!

On July 7, I met with the radiologist as it was a consultation only. He examined me and said, you don’t need radiation, you look great. He also confirmed that radiation, since it is a "spot" treatment, would not get all the cancer, only certain tumors. He was very interested in the cleanses I was taking and researched the ingredients while I was at the hospital.

His conclusion was that the herbs were doing me no harm, in fact "wormwood" is known in medical circles to kill tumors and advised he would render a report to my oncologist. The radiologist recommended a kidney test to ensure the cleanse was not toxic to my kidneys; however, he felt the dose was too minimal to be toxic.

On August 9, I saw my oncologist and after several blood and kidney tests, was told I did not need to see him again and that I could expect to live a "normal life expectance," I was fine! We have jointly agreed to check-ups every 3 months as a preventative measure. Interestingly, I showed him a bottle of the parasite cleanse and he said I was the second of his patients to show him the cleanse and the other patient had leukemia and was doing as well as I.

On October 2nd I returned from two weeks touring, hiking and exploring the Canadian Rockies. I feel great, thanks to Hulda Clark!

I realize that testimonials can be "a dime a dozen," but having been diagnosed with what we all dread, Cancer, I decided early in my diagnosis that I had to take control of my healing and exhaust all opportunities — dying was never on my agenda. What did I have to lose? Nothing — and I had my life to gain. My two daughters thought I was crazy to do the parasite cleanse, but now they support it wholeheartedly. There are many of us taking the parasite cleanse and doing well, some who have refused all "conventional medical treatment" (chemotherapy and radiation).

I think I owe my life to Hulda Clark’s parasite cleanse. —C.T., Burlington, Ontario, Canada

Letter #5:

Dear Dr. Clark,

You do not know me, but I feel compelled to write and offer my testimony and encouragement to you during this trying time.

I was led to obtain your book, A Cure For All Cancers, after a very dear friend, Tony Letteri, had been diagnosed and treated for colo-rectal and multiple melanoma cancers. In fact, I bought your book as a Christmas gift to Tony in 1998, after he was discharged from being in Hope Hospice House and had had several hospital stays and procedures. The years 1998-1999 have been a total nightmare for him and extremely difficult for me, who became his primary caregiver.

We both followed your protocol and even though it proved difficult to obtain the necessary herbs, etc. for the program, we were able to begin January 1, 1999. In two weeks, on January 1, 2000, we will be one year on the program.

This letter is a testimony to how your protocol works — helps — and cures! I followed it as a preventative, Tony as a cure. More than one miracle happened. During the initial months of treatment, diet change and lifestyle adjustments, we documented procedures and results on cassette tapes daily (I have about nine tapes). It was a crucial and apprehensive time, but results occurred in a matter of days! With time, we did the colon/bowel, kidney, parasite and liver cleanses, respectively. It has proven to be a long battle to regain our full health, but it has certainly been rewarding.

Today, December 17, 1999, blood work and urine analysis show favorable results and Tony is no longer receiving Hospice care or taking any pharmaceutical drugs. He feels happy and healthy and supports your program to the fullest. We are both your biggest supporters! Which makes us very disheartened to hear about what has been happening in Indiana. In one aspect it is a disgrace and yet in another, we pray that given the media attention, your findings, research and cures will reach many people in need. You have sacrificed so much and now also your freedom to do your work and share your findings with others.

This entire year has found us devoted to researching and obtaining resources and referrals regarding alternative (or, as I regard them — the genuine natural, traditional methods) versus contemporary medical procedures in order to get the word out about your work. I am attempting to establish a Center of Resources/Referrals where people can make contact with us regarding your protocol, books, etc. and obtain referrals to The Road to Health and Self Health Resource Center. I have spoken to many interested people regarding holistic treatments as I am also a Reiki Master and have been taught several other methods used in the world of complimentary medicine. I could go on and on about this past year, but the point I want to make is that the focus of the work being done here in Florida (and some other states) using your methods is very positive.

We feel positive in this direction. However, these seemingly "grassroots" endeavors may take more time than anticipated. Many people become leery when given answers and directions to their medical concerns. It is obvious you are aware of the many obstacles and problems that exist. Nevertheless, we will continue to push forward, share your research and pray for you and your family during this time of challenge. Your efforts will never have been in vain.

Currently, we have just completed an autobiographical video and look forward to transcribing the many tapes we recorded and putting them into book form.

If we can be of any help resolving any concerns or offering testimony regarding your legal concerns please contact me directly. Feel free to use this letter as written documentation and testimony in court.

We are hoping someday to meet personally with you to offer our gratitude and encouragement. You have helped so many people!

Thank you very much for sharing, caring and loving the human race and making a difference.

Sincerely,

A Message from Hulda Regehr Clark

Dear Friend and Fellow-human,

Sometimes in a person’s lifetime a sacrifice is needed for the benefit of humanity. If sacrifice is the way of bringing true health to the people, using electronic technology, I will willingly pay the price (court, fines, and incarceration).

The Syncrometer technology threatens the established medical practices because it promises discovery of the causes of disease, which results in true cures and true prevention. It will, of course, require development to a more automated device so the average citizen can investigate and cure themselves (or loved ones) long before any critical stage is reached.

Then will we all be accused of practicing medicine? I don’t believe so or the courts and jails would overflow. Instead, the chosen weapon for the archaic medical establishment, which is still trying to hold on to old techniques, might be misinformation. They may state the Syncrometer doesn’t work or isn’t accurate or can’t really measure or may be influenced by the tester, etc., which, of course, is not true. Syncrometer instructions include a test for reliability.

We are also learning so rapidly that even more is already possible than was described in the latest book, The Cure For All Advanced Cancers. An even higher level of expertise has been reached! For example, body fluids, such as saliva, contain antigens from all body tissues. It will no longer be necessary to examine a person (or pet) directly for toxins or pathogens. A saliva sample can now do it all. Combined with a tissue sample, the Syncrometer will test for toxins or parasites in that tissue. And, comparing the results with the results for the live person can easily validate it. (A tester in Europe made this discovery.)

A tumor, parasite, toxin, or virus can be identified in a person halfway across the world, without ever seeing them. Or an immune problem can be detected, whether benzene, ferritin coating of white blood cells, or the presence of magnetic elements (the lanthanides). I have outlined how to remove these in the Advanced Cancer book, and how to prevent them from reoccurring. Truly a modern healing in the making.

I can foresee many developments in the future for the Syncrometer. There may be devices made commercially by corporations that will be expensive, and usage may be restricted to licensed practitioners. This is certainly welcome, but it will be tempting for you to abandon the manually operated, simple-looking, cheaper devices. Hold on to them. They represent your freedom. And even after your freedom seems assured — freedom can be lost. Freedom must always be actively defended.

The donation that you contribute to my defense fund will be used to defend my freedom. If funds remain, they will go towards opening my own research lab where innovators can come and help develop a "peoples" automated Syncrometer, and, hopefully, many other innovations. Thank you for making it possible.

Sincerely,

Hulda R. Clark

More from Bonnie:

To Dr. Clark I would like to say that our prayers are with you as you go through the court system. Dale feels strongly that you should counter-sue using the very word you wrote —"Monopoly" — the drug companies have a monopoly and it should be used against them. [Dr. Clark responded to this by saying: "Thanks, Dale, for your support. Send a note to the Brown County Democrat to express your idea. It will have an impact there."] If you would like to write your own letter, the address is: The Brown County Democrat Newspaper, Mary Wyatt, Editor, Nashville, IN 47448, phone: (812) 988-2221.

We would like to say a deep-felt ‘thank you’ to everyone who sent a letter or note of encouragement to Dr. Clark.

We received a reminder from a reader about how to use the Zapper: "I’ve been zapping regularly for 4 years, but I’ve always held the positive and negative handholds in the same hands. I was recently reminded that the frequency is not as effective at one of the handholds, so this means that my right hand did not receive the full benefit of the Zapper for 4 years! This explains why the fingers on my right hand are showing signs of Arthritis even though the Zapper helps with Arthritis by killing microbes. Now I am changing the positive and negative handholds from one hand to the other every other time I zap and I wish you would remind your readers to do this also."

Another reader sent us a thank you note for saving an expensive pair of cotton pants that she simply could not wear. Every time she put them on she felt sick. She was going to give them away until she read the last newsletter. She soaked them in the washing machine (filled with water), with 1/4 cup of straight Planet Solutions added, for 24 hours and now she can wear them with no adverse effects! (You can also remove bleach with a one-hour soak.)

Over the past six months I’ve experimented with three new (to me) supplements (Beta Glucan, Heart Foods’ Cayenne and Recharge). I’ve enclosed information about them on the following pages. One of them, Recharge, that Loren Biser writes about in the enclosed After Everything Fails Newsletter, Vol. 11, is working like a miracle for me (to curb my cravings for carbohydrates). I didn’t really understand that I have a problem with carbohydrates until I read The Carbohydrate Addict’s Diet by Dr. Rachael F. Heller and Dr. Richard F. Heller, which is available in any bookstore. After I scored 47 out of a possible 60 on the carbohydrate addict’s test (found in the Heller book), which put me into the "severe addict’s" category, I decided to try Recharge. I’m so happy I did. My body has responded amazingly to it — I haven’t wanted ice cream once since I took the first wafer, and all it takes (for me) is one, 5 minutes before each meal (I break the wafer up and swallow the pieces with water).

Since I read The Carbohydrate Addict’s Diet and I’ve been taking Recharge I’ve been seeing the words "pancreas," "insulin" and "carbohydrates" everywhere. When I was browsing through the Alternative Medicine magazine (January 2000) the word "insulin" practically jumped off the page at me. It was in a fascinating article about a Cancer Clinic in Tijuana, Mexico called "BioPulse Rejuvenation Center" where an old cancer protocol, "Induced Hypoglycemic Therapy (IHT), is being used (since June, 1999) again. As I read it I thought of Dr. Kelley and faxed a copy to him.

Dr. Kelley became very interested in Induced Hypoglycemic Therapy and has spoken several times to Robert Morrow, MD, who is the Chief-of-Staff of the BioPulse Rejuvenation Center. Dr. Kelley believes the reason Induced Hypoglycemic Therapy cures cancer is very similar to the reason The Kelley Metabolic Cancer Program cures cancer. The two therapies are compared below.

BioPulse Rejuvenation Center’s Comprehensive Cancer Treatment Program:

The Kelley Metabolic Cancer Program:

On the positive side for IHT, it uses one’s own enzymes, which is always more effective than taking enzyme medications. And, for some, having an authority figure in charge is comforting. On the negative side, IHT is risky and very expensive — the comprehensive treatment program totals $24,000.00 for four weeks — and it may take longer than four weeks to be completely free of cancer.

The positive side of Dr. Kelley’s protocol is that it is inexpensive compared to IHT and you can stay at home. On the negative side you are on your own to take the large amounts of pancreatic enzymes needed, give yourself daily coffee enemas, and decide when to take a 5 day break in the treatment in order to prevent yourself from becoming too toxic.

If you are interested in Dr. Kelley’s program you may call him at (316) 221-2035 during the day between 6 am and 6 pm central time. (Dr. Kelley does not charge a fee for phone consultations.) To order Dr. Kelley’s enzyme formulas please see our order form.

Beta Glucan Heals an Abscessed Tooth

By Bonnie O’Sullivan

A friend called a few months ago to tell me about an experience that he had that astounded him. He had developed an abscessed tooth (the abscess was on his gum) that zapping and brushing with oregano oil did not reverse. He finally made an appointment with his dentist who told him he had two choices: have the tooth pulled or have a root canal. He didn’t want either, so he returned home with the abscess.

Instead of having the tooth pulled (a root canal was not an option) he decided to try something he had been reading about. He started taking massive amounts of beta glucan capsules. He took 1000 mg (4 capsules) every four hours and in three days the abscess had totally disappeared.

After I heard that I decided that I would add these little capsules to my daily supplements. I’ve been taking 4 morning and night and I love them. I still zap a few days a week, take my maintenance dose of black walnut freeze-dried capsules, eat mostly Kosher food and take 3 Panteric Extra caplets with each meal, but these beta glucan capsules are tops for keeping my resistance up. Now I never feel as though I’m getting run down.

They also work for a preventative when you elect to have any kind of invasive work done on your body. My daughter, Sandy, recently had to have dental work done. In the past she has suffered extensively with canker sores whenever she has had to go to the dentist. This time she had no problem with canker sores at the sites where she had the novocaine injections or where her gums were disturbed by the clamps the dentist used on her teeth. She took 4 beta glucan capsules twice a day every day for a week before and after her dental work and it was the least problem-causing dental experience she ever had.

What is Beta Glucan?

Beta glucan is a sugar molecule (polysaccharide) found in every living organism, from an amoeba to a zebra. It has hormonal effects and similar growth factors that are selective to the Langerhans (immune cells). It stimulates and energizes immune cell cascades such as macrophages, natural killer cells, tumor necrosis factors, etc. into action.

There are actually beta glucan receptors displayed by immune cells that the beta glucan fits right into like a lock and key and this switches on or activates the cells to do their job . . . clean up. There is no danger in causing this increased activity and beta glucan does not damage the immune response or create an auto-immune condition.

Certain plants and microorganisms are naturally high in beta glucan. Barley, oats, grasses, seaweed, Aloe Vera, mushrooms, etc. (it is the active ingredient in oat bran, besides the fiber itself, that caused the FDA to allow the medicinal claim that oat bran is active against colon cancer).

Beta glucan is important to keep Host Resistance at optimal levels. It is an excellent free radical scavenger and is especially beneficial for those undergoing treatment for immune-related conditions such as cancer, AIDS, CFIDS, or other infections. It is also a good preventative and booster for the average person wanting to strengthen his or her resistance.

Primarily beta glucan is used to add immunological punch to products to address the ever increasing incidence of chronic infections, inflammations (arthritis) and other immune stressing conditions like allergies, poor diet, bad working habits, etc. It is used extensively in the veterinarian and fishing industries.

Cayenne Normalizes Blood Pressure

By Bonnie O’Sullivan

In the past whenever I’ve taken cayenne pepper (on food or in capsules) my stomach would burn for hours and I believed it just wasn’t for me. Then I received a letter about cayenne from Sam Biser and I couldn’t get to the health food store fast enough to try taking it again. Sam’s letter convinced me that if I took the right form of cayenne (and in the right combination with other herbs) I could bring my blood pressure back to normal.

Last June I was told (at a doctor’s visit) that my blood pressure was up a little (139/85) and that even though "that’s normal for someone my age," I should "watch it." It was only on the high side of normal, but I decided that I would keep my eye out for something safe (blood pressure medication has numerous unpleasant side effects) that would help before it went up any further. A few weeks later I received Sam’s fascinating letter.

At the health food store, after I inquired about "the right kind and combination" of cayenne, I was shown the book Left For Dead by Dick Quinn and a bottle of Dick’s Heart Foods Company brand of cayenne called "Power Caps." "Power Caps" capsules contain 220 mg. African Birdseye and East Indian Cayenne, ("100,000 Heat Unit cayenne" — the right form, in the right combination), 110 mg. ginger, and smaller amounts of hawthorn berries and lecithin and are rated "hot." The directions are very clear that you must take the capsules with a large glass of cold water before meals. I bought both the book and the bottle of capsules and went home to read more about this "right form, in the right combination" of cayenne — according to Dick Quinn and Sam Biser.

Convinced by what I read, I took one capsule in the morning with a glass of cold water. A few minutes after taking it I felt a warm feeling that spread throughout my mid-section, which wasn’t unpleasant and didn’t last longer than a minute or two. I read that the reason this brand of cayenne does not cause the stomach to burn is that it is a dry, powdered form that has not been cooked. Only when cayenne is cooked is it a major irritant to the digestive tract. Cayenne in its dry, powdered form is the number one healing agent for bleeding ulcers in the digestive tract.

After two months of taking the "Power Caps" (one a day) I went back to the doctor for a check up. This time my blood pressure was 130/75. Much better, but not what my blood pressure used to be. I tried to take more than one capsule a day, but when I take two a day I either get sick to my stomach or have diarrhea, even if I separate taking them by 12 hours. So, one a day is my dosage of choice and I’ve been taking it for 6 months.

After four months I had my blood pressure checked again and it was down to 123/70, which is just fine with me.

My mother-in-law has been on blood pressure medication for several years and has had to keep changing the medication because of unpleasant side effects. A few months ago she began to take the Power Caps too (she takes three Power Caps a day) and her blood pressure has come down enough that her doctor has taken her off the blood pressure medication entirely. Needless to say, she is very happy about that!

Sandy and my son-in-law, Gary, are taking the Heart Foods Company brand of cayenne called "Heart Food Caps" and Sandy tells me she is going to the bathroom regularly because of it. Sandy had a hysterectomy in 1997 and Gary’s dad died of a heart attack when he was young (in his forty’s). So, they are both taking it for prevention (they each like the "Heart Food Caps, which are medium hot and contain garlic and onion as well as the ingredients in "Power Caps"). Gary had an accident as a boy that left him with poor circulation in his left wrist and hand. He works outdoors all year round and his left wrist and hand would be numb most of the day in the winter (they live in Washington State). Since he has been taking the "Heart Food Caps" capsules his wrist and hand have not felt numb once. He also tells me that he noticed he has more energy all day since the first day he started taking the "Heart Food Caps."

One of Sam Biser’s stories was of a doctor who saved a man’s life after he had a heart attack by putting some of the "right kind" of cayenne powder right into the man’s mouth (without the capsule), which immediately started his heart beating again.

Sam sent out another newsletter recently with the following story from a reader:

"While we were in Michigan this summer, my husband, who has lost the back of his heart to several heart attacks, had another one when he came down from our barn while he was repairing what the wind had ripped off.

"We made it back to the house and he was going to have another cup of coffee . . . but he didn’t get too far. He started into a bad heart attack. He laid down on the bed and I gave him nitro under the tongue three times, at five minute intervals, and placed two nitro patches on his chest (one on the left side and one on the right side), he took a pain killer, Zanax (Iboprophen), — but it didn’t seem to be working."

"We had recently heard about your cayenne book and had ordered it and read it. According to what I had read, I took a teaspoon of cayenne, dissolved it in water, and put it under his tongue with an eyedropper. Color came immediately to his face.

"He then asked me to put some on his chest. I made a poultice by putting warm water on his chest, sprinkling cayenne all over it, then covering it with a warm piece of T-shirt material. It wasn’t long before he went to sleep for a good three hours.

When he work up, he asked for the same treatment on his back, as he was having muscle spasms pretty bad and extreme muscle fatigue and pain in his back and neck. I applied it and later that evening, for the first time, he was able to sit at the computer and work one of his games with no pain. He took a day off and finished the roof job.

"What is extraordinary is that it usually takes a few weeks to recuperate from a heart attack."

After Everything FAILS . . .
Health Report

For those desperate for RESULTS — after the best treatments fail.

An Investigative Update:

Unknown food claimed to give more energy than vitamins or herbs . . .

The Recharge Story: —18 years later

Over 5,000 people used Recharge in the 1980’s. Many claimed it was a phenomenal food for blood sugar problems. It was quite popular with hypoglycemics, diabetics and dieters.

The Theory: Recharge was said to produce ‘time-released’ energy. One single pill was supposed to give 3-5 hours of steady energy. Did it work? This report tries to find out.

Almost 20 years ago, this editor wrote a story on a ‘high-energy’ food called Recharge. Recharge was a unique type of carbohydrate that supposedly gave people steady energy — without the extra calories or weight gain.

"One diabetic was amazed at how much it helped her. We had testimonials coming out of our ears." — Biochemist.

Readers claimed that if you took just one pill before a meal, you didn’t eat as much. Others claimed Recharge saved them when their blood sugar levels hit rock bottom. One person claimed Recharge helped them lose over 40 pounds.

I remember the manufacturer telling me they were so swamped with orders, they had to run three shifts. Boxes of orders would come in daily. One secretary said, "You created a monster!"

Over the years I forgot about Recharge, as did most of my readers. I decided it was time to take a second look and see why it was so successful.

I interviewed the biochemist who created Recharge, a Texan named Jim Dews. It took me six months just to locate the orginal story. I had to re-read it myself and study my own research.

Question: What happened to the old Recharge?

Dews: Recharge was basically forgotten, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t work. Nothing I have created since has replaced the concept behind Recharge — the idea of time-released energy.

Question: The health market is loaded with hundreds of natural energy products.

Dews: Most of those products are designed to give you an instant shot of energy. Many contain sugars or have different stimulants like caffeine or ephedrine. There are few, if any, formulas with the concept of time-released energy.

A lot of formulas contain herbs. Natural herbs may contain minerals to help the body release energy out of foods. But with Recharge, we are giving you energy in an almost pure form. This is far better than any herb — and a lot cheaper. There are not many nutrients that can give you 3-5 hours of steady energy from one tablet.

"Doctors begged me to find an energy pill for their dieting patients."

Question: Let’s review some facts for the new readers. Why did you create Recharge?

Dews: A number of doctors came to me for help. They needed an energy formula that could help their dieting patients. The dieters became so fatigued on their diets, they went on binges and gained even more weight.

The doctors kept urging me to look into proteins and fats for a possible answer. But I knew better. Common sense told me the solution to an energy problem was a carbohydrate. My intuition told me the answer was in finding a carbohydrate somewhere between simple sugars and complex starches.

I analyzed the body fluids of healthy people. After extensive analysis, I found certain carbohydrates in the blood, which did not release as quickly as simple sugars. This group of carbohydrates is classified as dextrins. There are many types of dextrins.

The type of dextrin I focused on is made from 12 molecules of sugar. Since no one ever named this large dextrin before, I labeled it a ‘di-decasaccharide’ which is a fancy name for a 12-molecule sugar. I called this unknown food Recharge, because it ‘recharges’ the body with energy.

Question: Why wasn’t this type of dextrin identified a long time ago?

Dews: It was always there, but no one ever took the trouble to look for it. I was the first one to produce it specifically as a steady source of energy.

Question: Are dextrins found in foods?

Dews: Many fruits and vegetables contain dextrins; however, they appear in very tiny amounts.

Question: Why is dextrin better than regular sugar as a source of energy?

Dews: Refined sugar is an explosive source of energy. It supplies too much energy too quickly. It’s like gasoline; it needs to be controlled.

Simple sugars can cause wide fluctuations in blood sugar. This is a tremendous stress. One of the main problems with sugar is that the blood sugar can easily go too high. To protect itself, the body often turns the excess sugar into fat.

Recharge releases its sugars very slowly into the blood — only as you need them. It prevents a person from getting ‘ups and downs’ from erratic blood sugar levels. Plus, it will not turn into body fat. You get steady energy, without the blood sugar problems or weight gain.

"God knew what he was doing when he created dextrins. It’s the perfect energy food."

Question: Many nutritionists say to eat complex carbohydrates. This is certainly better than sugar.

Dews: That’s good advice. But many people have poor digestion — especially elderly people. A lot of complex carbohydrates and starches are never turned into usable energy. With Recharge, the energy is already there; it doesn’t require enzymes to break it down. That’s why I say dextrin is the ultimate energy source for the body.

God knew exactly what he was doing. Dextrin has a low molecular weight so it will go into solution quickly, but it is complex enough so that it will take hours instead of minutes to release its energy.

Question: What is Recharge made from?

Dews: Corn.

Question: Aren’t many people allergic to corn?

Dews: Recharge is so highly refined, there are no noticeable traces of corn left. Many allergy patients love Recharge. To be safe, check with your doctor.

Question: Is it simple to make Recharge?

Dews: It’s an extremely complex procedure. You’ve got to be a pharmacologist and a damn good one to pull this one off.

"Dieters have been brainwashed for years that all carbohydrates are bad."

Question: Are all dextrins the same?

Dews: The grades vary widely. There are 1,001 ways to cut the quality. You can get a cheap grade and it just won’t work. I can’t tell you all the secrets.

Many processed foods contain dextrin; many labels list ‘malto-dextrin.’ But these companies are rarely concerned about the energy benefits. They use dextrins for taste, texture and flavoring. They are trying to sell a product, not an energy pill.

Question: What is the difference between dextrin and dextrose?

Dews: Dextrose is a simple, two-molecule sugar. The dextrins I use in Recharge are a much more complex type of carbohydrate. You also hear the term ‘dextran.’ This is an extremely complex starch.

Question: Health food stores are loaded with products made with fructose, a fruit sugar. Why didn’t you use that instead of dextrin?

Dews: Fructose is a simple sugar, like glucose. They are both one-molecule sugars. Fructose can cause the same problems as glucose; the energy is released too quickly.

Question: Can’t people get enough dextrins from their food?

Dews: Most foods are so processed, that much of the dextrins are lost. Processing converts natural dextrins into simple sugars or complex starches.

Since the dextrins are destroyed, we are left with an exhausted, overweight population. That’s why Recharge can help so many people — it’s a very concentrated source of dextrin.

"For many with blood sugar problems, Recharge is like finding the ‘Promised Land.’"

"Recharge gets me through the low parts of the day — without the need for sweets." — Barbara Dews

Question: Who can benefit from Recharge?

Dews: Anyone who needs more energy. For people with blood sugar problems, Recharge can be a lifesaver. Many can quickly eliminate that weak, shaky feeling by taking a Recharge pill.

Recharge is also excellent for dieters. The main reason dieters can’t stay on a diet is that they run out of energy. I know of one reader who used Recharge to stay on a diet; he lost over 50 pounds.

Recharge is also good for athletes. If you want time-released energy and stamina, Recharge is the formula of choice. Many athletes ‘carbo-load’ on Recharge. They mix the Recharge powder in water and drink it before and during their games.

Question: Is Recharge safe for diabetics?

Dews: Absolutely! Recharge is excellent for diabetics. It helps to keep their blood sugar level normal. It also helps them to cut down on sugars. To be safe, check with your doctor.

Question: Should a person take Recharge before or after a meal?

Dews: It is best to take Recharge five minutes before a meal. This will give you enough energy so you won’t crave the wrong foods.

Question: Is Recharge sweet?

Dews: No. The Recharge powder is tasteless. The tablets come in two flavors: chocolate and orange. Neither the powder not the tablets will cause tooth decay, which is another benefit.

Question: What do people use the powder for?

Dews: Many mix it in water as a pep-drink. Others love to cook with it. It’s excellent for those who want to cut down on the sweetness of food. My wife, Barbara, uses the powder to replace some of the sugar in her pecan pie recipe. It’s far better than most pecan pies, which are too sweet and syrupy.

"Believe me, Recharge will keep you going!" — Elizabeth, 75 years old

Question: One reader says she helped many recover from operations by giving them Recharge in water. Why would that help?

Dews: When you have steady energy, every system in your body functions better. When you have high energy levels, it’s only logical you would recover easier from an illness or operation.

Question: One person said Recharge helped them to think easier when they worked with numbers.

Dews: That doesn’t surprise me. The brain needs energy just like any other organ.

"I can’t get through my exercise workout without Recharge." — Donna Dews

"I have been using Recharge for ten years. Thirty minutes before every workout, I mix a tablespoon of Recharge in water. It gives me plenty of stamina and energy to get through my exercise class. Recharge also helps me to think better when I do mental work."

"I often put Recharge in my dog’s water bowl. It seems to give them more pep and energy." — Donna Dews

PMS: "Recharge quickly takes away any craving I get during PMS. Recharge helped me lose 35 pounds." — Debra, Minnesota

Weight Loss: "Recharge is great for stopping sugar cravings." — Dr. Katherine Rabel, Minnesota

Stamina: "I just climbed down the 10,000 foot SanDia Mountains in New Mexico. There is no way I could have made it without Recharge." — Barbara Dews, 61 years old

Recharge saves man’s life in hospital. By Elizabeth, Pittsburgh, PA

"It was a miracle he pulled out of it." — Doctor

Dying brother saved in intensive care: Elizabeth had a brother who was saved from two stressful operations by Recharge. Elizabeth gave him water mixed with Recharge. She swears this also helped him later to stay on a diet and lose 110 pounds.

Elderly mother saved: A 75-year-old woman in Pennsylvania had great success with Recharge. She swears Recharge gave her mother 8-10 more years of life — after the doctors sent her home to die. She put Recharge in water and gave it to her. She says many times the Recharge helped to reduce a high fever. She also said it prevents dehydration. "For sick and elderly people, Recharge is the greatest."

Tremendous energy: Elizabeth has been taking Recharge herself for 12 years. "It gives me more strength than I know what to do with." She mixes the Recharge in water and takes it like a drink. She says it is far better than Gatorade for quenching your thirst. Her doctor says she has the finest heart he has seen in years. "I keep ten pounds of Recharge on hand at all times."

How Conventional Medicine Suppressed a
Promising Cancer Therapy for Forty Years
— And How It’s Been Revived

Manfred J. Sakel, a young Polish neuropsychiatrist, first used HIT experimentally in 1928. Insulin had only been discovered in 1921. Working at a mental hospital in Berlin, Dr. Sakel thought the substance might be helpful in treating morphine addicts. During his research, however, he had an accident, or, as he tactfully described it during a lecture in New York in 1933, he was helped "by chance." In his own words: "By chance I produced deeper hypoglycemic reactions than I had intended. I was able to observe that such reactions led to much quicker and more substantial alterations in mental states, and could even cause psychotic symptoms to vanish."

IHT was enthusiastically embraced to treat a variety of mental illnesses and thousands of patients received this therapy into the 1960s. It was then superceded by electric shock treatments, primarily because using electric shock was less labor-intensive and expensive.

IHT was used exclusively for the treatment of mental illness until 1957 when, again, "chance" intervened. That year, Dr. Surgis Koroljow, a psychiatrist and researcher practicing in New Jersey, treated two terminally ill cancer patients for severe depression.

The first patient was a 53-year-old woman who had a diagnosis of cervical cancer, confirmed by a biopsy. Upon commencement of surgery it was observed that the cancer had infiltrated surrounding structures and metastasized to the lymph glands, so the operational wound was closed and no further action was taken.

Electric shock therapy was contraindicated due to her debilitated and emaciated state, so Dr. Koroljow decided to employ IHT in an attempt to at least lessen her mental suffering. He began injecting small amounts of insulin and gradually increased them until the patient was allowed to go into hypoglycemic sleep for an hour and a half, with her blood sugar level dropping as low as 22 mg/dL (normal is 100 to 150 mg/dL).

After ten weeks of five sessions per week, the patient had gained 32 pounds; her blood pressure was 125/75; her appetite was good; she slept well; and her mental condition was normal. One week after the termination of the IHT, she was examined by her surgeon who found no sign of malignancy. Another biopsy was performed, confirming the remission of the cancer. Two years later she was still well.

The second case was similar. A 62-year-old woman was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma, with malignant nodes scattered throughout her body, confirmed by biopsy. After fifteen weeks of IHT, all traces of cancer were gone.

Dr. Koroljow published a paper on his work, and began treating cancer patients who came to his practice for psychiatric help. That’s when the trouble began. According to Dr. Koroljow’s widow, Maria Koroljow, M.D. — who is still currently practicing psychiatry — her husband began to be hounded by oncologists in the area, when their patients came back for reexaminations. He received a series of threatening phone calls, telling him that he was out of his field, and should only treat patients for depression. Finally, a letter arrived from the State of New Jersey, threatening to revoke his license to practice if he didn’t cease treating cancer patients. In fear of the medical authorities, he complied. This remarkably promising therapy was not heard about again until 1998, when Dr. Koroljow’s paper came to the attention of Wayne Martin, an 88-year-old private researcher in Alabama.

Martin was intrigued by what he read, and spoke about it to Helen O’Brien, a breast cancer survivor and activist. O’Brien contacted approximately 80 doctors and organiza-tions to find someone who would reinvestigate IHT, without success. Then, in 1999, she brought it to the attention of Burton Goldberg, president of Alternative Medicine. Mr. Goldgerg put O'Brien and Martin in touch with Loran Swensen, president of the BioPulse medical clinic in Tijuana. BioPulse’s resident oncologist, Dr. Omar Sanchez, discussed it with his staff and it was decided to find a qualified medical doctor to implement the program. After a search they found Dr. Bernarda Lara, a critical care M.D. who had been Mother Theresa’s personal physician. After several months of preparation, BioPulse commenced the use of IHT to treat cancer in June 1999. It is a tragedy that this protocol was quashed into oblivion for an entire generation afflicted with an epidemic of cancer.
