What Water Should Be Used... Use only distilled water when making colloidal silver for internal use. Spring water and filtered water should only be used for topical applications only. The reason for this is that there are too many minerals and salt still in the water and the silver will adhere to the minerals and the salt will put chloride ions into the water that will react with the silver to form silver chloride. You cannot use deionized water because it doesn't conduct electricity well enough to start the reaction.
Let's Make Colloidal Silver... Pour hot distilled water into the glass batch container provided to near full, about 1/2 inch from top. Insert your two .999 silver electrodes (the ends with black tubing) into the receptors at the bottom of the unit, they will fit tightly. (Be careful with the handling of the silver electrodes for they maybe soft and will bend easily). Center unit over glass jar and silver electrodes into the water. Plug power supply into jack (this is found next to light at end of box) and plug power supply into wall outlet. The light will come on to indicate the unit is working. Do not let the electrodes touch each other during operation or the process will stop and light will go out. The unit will reset by unplugging it and starting again.
How Do You Know When It's Done? Simple, as process begins when making silver (with the water at room temperature) you will observe bubbles of hydrogen rise from one silver electrode, while an ultra fine silver cloud solution begins to peel off the other and will start moving toward each other. This usually takes about 30 minutes. As soon as the solution around both electrodes is mildly cloudy, you are done. Keep an eye on your solution. If the process time goes too long you will end up with a brown sludge. If this happens, pour it out and start over. When you are done, stir solution with a plastic or wooden utensil for even distribution of silver and store in amber bottle in a dark place. If you do not have an amber container, you can just cover glass and place in dark place like a cupboard. Be sure that when making the silver you are away from the sunlight and do not leave a light on in this area during the process. You can turn the lights on to check your process.
Timing Chart:
For each minute of activation within properly conductive water, a silver colloid of approximately I part per million (ppm) will be created. Four minutes should produce a high quality working solution (about 5 ppm) in an 8 oz glass at room temperature (72 degrees), or seven minutes for a 16 oz glass. Yield depends on water volume (size of glass container), water conductivity, water temperature, surface area of electrodes, amount of current, and time. To greatly increase the ppm, use heated water. For every 10 degrees above room temperature you will double your ppm. Example: 72 degrees = 1 ppm per minute, 82 degrees = 2 ppm, 92 degrees = 4 ppm. 102 degrees = 8 ppm, etc. Once ingested, colloidal silver circulates in the body for about a week before elimination. To finish, unplug unit from wall, Process is completed.
THIS IS HOW WE MAKE IT: If you are making yellow/gold colloidal silver, we have found that if you heat the water to just about boiling, like making tea, the reaction will be quicker. Leave silver electrodes in water for 12 to 15 minutes. Keep an eye on it after 12 minutes. Use the 8 oz glass provided in kit, this works very well for this procedure. Once the cloud starts forming, you are just about done. This is the best way to standardize your colloidal silver. If you want a stronger batch, remove the unit from the water, wipe the silver electrodes and put back in the water for another 5 minutes.
Clean Up: Be sure to remove silver electrodes from generator after it has been unplug from power supply. To do this do not tip unit over, hold unit firmly and to plastic bag to protect them. Dry any moisture from bottom of unit.
Storage: Silver is light sensitive. Keep in cool dark place but do not refrigerate. Preferably use darkly tinted glass bottles. No not use plastic bottles. As the colloid becomes colder the movements of the particles will slow down and fall out of solution Always shake bottle before using to be sure that the silver colloid is evenly distributed. Do not store near speaker cabinets or other strong magnetic fields. Full potency can be retained for about a month when silver colored solution is properly stored.
Gold/yellow colored colloidal silver: The yellow solution often has a bitter taste. This yellow colored colloidal silver is the type that is normally sold in stores because of its long shelf life. However, there appears to be no compelling evidence that the yellow colloid is more potent than the silver colored colloid. The color is an effect resulting form the type of particles the silver ions attach themselves to. This does not change the size of the silver itself. When engaging the electrolytic method, silver ions always break off at the same particle size, 1.26 angstroms, or approximately .00001 microns.
Suggested Use: Two tsp. of 5 ppm provides about 50 mcg of silver and could be considered a "nutritional" amount, if taken on a daily basis. Take 1 oz in the AM and 1 oz in the PM of whatever strength you have make if you are dealing with a problem. Can be sprayed on skin for skin problems, drops in eyes, spray in mouth to inhale for sore throat or nose problems. For tooth or gum problems hold a small amount of the solution in mouth for at least 3 minutes.
Important Note* Do not discard any colloidal silver down the drain for it will kill the bacteria that works in breaking down the solid waist, especially if you have your own septic system.
